NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at the following times on Thursday, May 6, 2004, in Courtroom No. 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:
6:00 P.M.-FILE C776-03-CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING-RUSSELL CARLSON is requesting conditional use permit approval to construct an 8-unit residential structure. The property is zoned Recreation and is described as Crystal Springs Subdivision Amended Block 4, Lot 4. The site is generally located in Section 20, Township 58 North, Range 2 West, B. M., Bonner County, at Schweitzer Mountain.
6:30 P.M.-FILE CM775-04-MODIFICATION OF CONDITIONS OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A RECREATIONAL FACILITY-MICKINNICK TRAIL-THE CITY OF SANDPOINT is requesting a modification of the conditional use permit for the Mickinnick Trail to eliminate the requirement to improve the portion of Woodland Drive along the length of the subject property (Condition #13). The site is zoned Rural and is located northwest of Sandpoint in Section 4, Township 57 North, Range 2 West. The review will be confined to the proposed modification, pursuant to Section 12-460(d), Bonner County Revised Code.
7:00 P.M.-FILE V327-03-VARIANCE REQUEST: FRONT YARD SETBACK-KOVATS, ET AL are requesting a variance to Bonner County's 25-foot front yard setback requirement from all ingress/egress easements boundaries or property lines, in order to build a single family residence with a detached garage 10 feet from the front property line. The property is known as "Parcel A" of unplatted Warren Beach Lots, southwest of Coolin in Section 9, Township 59 North, Range 4W, B.M. The site is zoned Rural.
7:15 P.M.-FILE V329-04-VARIANCE REQUEST: FRONT AND SIDE YARD SETBACKS-KEITH ED SPRENKEL is proposing to vary from Bonner County setback standards for existing commercial storage buildings. The applicant seeks a front yard setback of 6 feet, where 75 feet is required adjoining the state highway; a front yard setback of 8 feet, where a 37.5-feet is required; and 5-foot and 6-foot side yard setbacks, where 10 feet is required along the northeast property line. The 1.38-acre site is zoned Rural Service Center and is accessed from Highway 57 in Section 31, Township 60 North, Range 4 West, B.M.
7:15 P.M.-FILE C783-04-CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR STORAGE FACILITIES-KEITH ED SPRENKEL is seeking conditional use permit approval for three existing storage buildings to allow for commercial storage. The property is located within the Rural Service Center zoning district and is accessed from Highway 57 in Section 31, Township 60 North, Range 4 West, B.M.
8:00 P.M.-FILE C754-03-CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A PRIVATE SCHOOL AND GROUP HOME-JOHN AND CHARMAINE BAISDEN are requesting conditional use permit approval for two group homes within existing residences and a proposed private school. Proposed "Turning Winds" is located in the Rural District, +/-12 miles south of Sandpoint on Geenan Road. The site is located in Section 12, Township 55 North, Range 3 West, B.M.
