Clark Fork tennis continues climb

POST FALLS — Winning five matches against a mixture of Post Falls junior varsity and varsity players, the Clark Fork Wampus Cats earned another tennis victory for their young program Friday.

Leading the way for Clark Fork was Sarah Baugh, who teamed up with Corinne Haase and later Dustin Gannon for wins in girls and mixed doubles action.

Rayna Allen continued her winning streak with a victory over Post Falls varsity player Nichole Lawerance.

BOYS DOUBLES — Nathan Allen-Stephen McDaniel, CF, d. Jeff Daih-Chris Duncan, PFJV, 8-0. Anthony Trunnel-Justin Davis, CF, d. Brian Luhman-John Pullock, 9-7.

GIRLS DOUBLES — Corinne Haase-Sarah Baugh, CF, d. Lea Rowe-Kari Wagner, PFJV, 8-1.

MIXED DOUBLES — Kyle Howenton-Kate Long, PFJV, d. Tia Becker-Dustin Gannon, CF. Stephen McDaniel-Reina Hagstrom, CF, d. Peter Thompson-Sarah Loves, PFJV. Sarah Baugh-Dustin Gannon, CF, tie, Stewart Bennity-Rich Benevedo, PFJV.
