Sandpoint takes six matches en route to IEL win

POST FALLS — Kelsey James, Lauren Fiedler and Kody Helander made it a clean sweep in girls singles tennis action as Sandpoint went on to top Post Falls 6-2 Thursday at Post Falls High School.

Additional wins were recorded by Zibby Keaton and Logan Jones-Olson, and James and Pat Hoffman in mixed doubles matches. Marcus Weickenmeier and Tyler Wahlin won their boys doubles match for the Bulldogs.

Kristi Kuhn and Nicole Lawrence remained undefeated against Inland Empire League 4A foes with a victory at No. 1 doubles for the Trojans.

Rebecca Samuel and Kathleen Johann also won at No. 2 doubles for Post Falls, which plays host to Moscow on Tuesday.
