Louis R. Osterberg, 58

Louis R. Osterberg, 58, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at his home on Bull Lake near Troy, Mont.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 21, 2004, at 14462 Bull Lake Rd., Troy.

Louis was born on Aug. 27, 1945, at Sandpoint, Idaho. He and his wife, Cheryl, were married Feb. 7,1964, at Pinehurst, Idaho, and they raised two daughters.

He worked in mining and construction for 40 years in Idaho, Montana and Nevada. A very loved husband, father, grandfather and friend, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and being with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl; daughters, Lisa Gravelle Sorenson and Elois Skinner; grandchildren, Wesley Skinner, Daniel Gravelle and Sarah Gravelle, all residing in Elko, Nev.; sister and brothers, Nancy Pearson, John Osterberg and Leon Osterberg; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Nelson and Vial Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
