People who earn money, pay taxes

Rich are getting richer, etc. I am getting really tired of hearing so-called "poor people" crying about rich people getting all the tax cuts. For your information, people who make a lot of money, pay a lot of taxes and people who don't make much, barely pay anything. What makes people think that people who don't pay taxes or pay a tiny percentage of their income should get anything back? Where is common sense here?
