Carol Clark McIntyre, 88, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Private family services have been held.
Carol was born on May 28, 1916, in Haxtun, Colo., to Crawford and Maude (Taylor) Clark. She grew up in Brawley, Calif., and attended college in Pasadena. Carol married Donald Stuart McIntyre Sr. in Pasadena, where they raised their two children for many years.
The family moved to Van Nuys, Calif., in 1953 and later moved to Sunnyvale, Calif., in 1963. Carol was active in the LDS church there. She also sang in the Palo Alto Stake Choir for many years. In 1994, she moved to Sandpoint to be closer to her daughter.
Carol had a wonderful sense of humor, she enjoyed music and gardening. As a young woman she was gifted at playing the violin and piano.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn McIntyre of Bonner County, Idaho; a granddaughter, Cami (Jeff) Ward of Pocatello, Idaho; four great-granddaughters, Kelsey, Naomi, Mallory and Melody Ward; a niece, Roxanne (Gary) Steen of LaPuenta, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Miriam Bates of Temple City, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Sr.; and son, Donald Stuart McIntyre Jr.
