Katie continues recovery with determination

Dearest friends and loved ones,

Katie and I wanted to take a moment to wish you all the happiest of holidays and bring you quickly up to date on Katie's recovery.

Katie is currently involved in therapy five days a week at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She continues to make great strides. She is beginning to gain back her mobility and is now able to move around our home with the aide of a walker. Katie's spirit and energy has certainly proven to be remarkable. Her initial prognosis was very limited, but with her hard work, determination and spirit she has exceeded all expectations and continues to work hard.

Katie and both think often of all the support and love we received from all of you during the early days of her recovery. This time of year brings those memories especially close.
