Personal wealth found at expense of peace

| December 22, 2004 8:00 PM

How to maximize personal wealth — everyone who desires wealth necessarily must hold certain mental attitudes, either consciously or unconsciously. To maximize wealth, these attitudes must be applied consciously.

Eliminate all interest in social equality, for wealth is by definition a social inequality.

Destroy all tendencies toward altruism, for altruism is sharing with those less fortunate, which can only promote wealth if used deceptively as a form of public relations.

Learn to oppress your neighbors, family and business associates. No one can maximize wealth without the help of others channeled into ones own self-interest, thus you will need to exploit those who like and trust you.

Suppress all tendencies toward spiritual awareness. Spiritual perception is developed through recognition of the essential oneness and interdependence of all life, which is metaphysical in nature, hence diametrically opposed to the materialistic outlook from which all desire for wealth is manifest.

Discourage peace. Peace arises our of social equality, justice, altruism, appreciation for fellow human beings and, above all, satisfaction. There can be no peace in the pursuit of maximum wealth. All of you who idolize the wealthy know that this is the path upon which you tread.
