Arlie Church, 46, passed away on April 16, 2004, in Sandpoint. His father Robert "Bob" Church, 76, passed away on Oct. 9, 2001, in Coeur d'Alene.

Joint memorial services will be held for Arlie and Bob at noon Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandpoint.

Arlie was born on Aug. 31, 1957, in Lebanon, Ore., the son of Robert and Elaine (Wyness) Church.

In 1968, the family moved to Sandpoint, Id. where he had resided ever since. He attended schools in Sandpoint and graduated from Sandpoint High School.

Arlie was a seasonal worker for the city of Sandpoint. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and being a friend to all.

Bob was born on June 1, 1927, in Whitetail, Mont., the son of William and Sarah (Boyd) Church. He was raised in southern Saskatchewan, Canada, and served in the Canadian Army during the Korean War.

He married Elaine Wyness on July 11, 1954, and they settled in Sweet

Home, Ore. In 1968 he moved his family to Sandpoint. Bob worked for the city of Sandpoint and retired in the spring of 1991.

Bob and Elaine spent their winter months in Arizona and returned to North Idaho each summer. He managed the Bambi RV Park in Coeur d' Alene from 1995 until 1998.

Arlie and Bob are survived by Arlie's mother and Bob's wife, Elaine Church of Post Falls; Arlie's sisters and Bob's daughters, Sue Larson of Coeur d'Alene, Debra Church of Kirkland, Wash., and Robin Church of Sandpoint; Arlie's brother and Bob's son, William Doyle Church of Sandpoint; Arlie's daughter and Bob's granddaughter, Natasha Katona of Orofino.

Arlie is also survived by his niece, Lori Larson, and a great-nephew Cade White of Post Falls; and aunts, uncles and cousins as well as special friends Rick and Rhonda and family, and Mike and Cindy and family.

Bob is additionally survived by a granddaughter, Lori Larson; great-grandson, Cade White; and his sister, Marion Stephenson.

Arlie was preceded in death by his father Robert A. Church, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents, two uncles, and a brother-in-law.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
