Patricia Joan Holton Wilcox

| July 28, 2004 9:00 PM

Patricia Joan Holton Wilcox, born Sept. 10 1935, in Caldwell, Idaho, rejoined her infant son, Clayton, granddaughter Kari Baker and parents Chet and Margaret Holton on July 27, 2004.

Forty-seven of her 68 years were spent as a bilateral amputee, raising her seven children and nurturing her 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, teaching us the wonders of dance, music, faith, tolerance and humility. From singer on KWRO Radio in Coquille, Ore., to artist and graphic designer for experimental prosthesis at UCLA, her most rewarding adventure was of Mom and Grandma.

We love and honor our mother, grandmother, advisor and friend.

Survivors are daughters and spouse, Rose Bond and George Earle, Shannon and Jack Laude, Kathy Wilcox, Bonnie Wilcox and Tracy Davidson; sons and spouse, Bruce and Alishia Wilcox and Bill Wilcox; grandchildren Kris, Hiedie, Jeremy and Shelly Rogers, Sarah Davis, John, Jen, Tim and Shianna Laude, Calia, Cara, Tony and Darcy Wilcox, Levi Geenan, Bill Mueller and his daughter Alexis and Steven and Tara Pate; great-grandchildren Nikkita Good, Lane and Logan Laude, Alexis and Madison Pate; brother William Holton and sister Mary Wiley.

Memories to be shared at noon on Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Laude residence, 356 Fourth St., Ponderay 83852. Family and friends welcome.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
