Roland Emile Talbot, 64

Roland Emile Talbot, 64, passed away in Sandpoint on Saturday, July 24, 2004.

Memorial services are pending and will be conducted later by AA friends in Sandpoint, New England and Long Beach, Wash.

Roland was born in Maine on Sept. 15, 1939. He grew up in Maine, where he attended school.

He moved to Sharon, Mass., in 1991, and worked as a ventilation technician and studied computers. In 2000, he moved to Albuquerque, N.M., and worked as a computer technician for AARP.

In 2002, he became a workamper, traveling and working in different campgrounds throughout the country.

He has worked at Round Lake State Park since May 2004. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his work in the campgrounds.

He is survived by his special friend, Jeanne Vaillancourt of Round Lake State Park in Sagle, Idaho; and family members residing in Maine and the Northeast.

Final arrangements were under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
