Thanks, Bonner Mall

I would like to thank the Bonner Mall and all the folks who stopped by to pet the cats and share a personal story or two. I had a great time and two cats found a loving home. Like most people, I am very busy but when asked to take a couple of cats to the mall for adoption my heart said years, though my chore list for the weekend was already very long.

Every Saturday, from 12 noon to 3 p.m., someone will be at the mall with cats for adoption. Right now the Animal Shelter is offering 2 for 1. If you would like to help out on a Saturday afternoon please call the Animal Shelter (265-7297) to sign up. You will be glad you did! I was!

FYI: One pair of cats in nine years can produce 11 million plus cats. Yes, I said, 11 million plus! Shocking isn't it? Hard to believe, you bet! What's the solution? Spay and neuter all your pets for some of those 11 million plus that you are not able to take care of will wind up at the shelter. Who is responsible? All of us.
