NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners on Thursday, June 24, 2004, will conduct a public meeting at 11:00 a.m. at a site located off of Bottle Bay Road, approximately five miles southeast of the city of Sandpoint, in portions of Section 4, Township 56 North, and Section 33, Township 57 North, all in Range 1 West, for the purpose of a site review relating to Files ZC302-04, C784-04 and S1051-04. No public testimony will be taken at this time.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Thursday, June 24, 2004, in the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

1:30 P.M. - FILE ZC304-04 - ZONE CHANGE REQUEST: SUBURBAN-a TO RECREATION - GEORGE & ELIZABETH MCKINNON are seeking to rezone +/-20.4 acres from Suburban 1/3 to Recreation in order to seek conditional use permit approval for a private resort for children with disabilities. The site is located off of Bishop's Bay Road, 10 miles southwest of the city of Sandpoint, in Section 16, Township 56 North, Range 3 West, B.M. The Planning and Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of June 3, 2004, recommended denial of the application to the Board of County Commissioners.

2:00 P.M. - FILE ZC302-04 - ZONE CHANGE REQUEST: RURAL TO RECREATION - FILE C784-04 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND FILE S1051-04 - FESTIVE LANE ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - BOTTLE BAY FAMILY HOLDINGS, LLC is seeking approval to rezone +/-2.5 acres from Rural (5-acre minimum lot size) to Recreation (12,000 square foot lot size minimum), in conjunction with an application for a small-scale planned unit development. The site is located off of Bottle Bay Road, approximately five miles southeast of the city of Sandpoint, in portions of Section 4, Township 56 North, and Section 33, Township 57 North, all in Range 1 West, B.M. The Planning and Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of June 3, 2004, recommended approval of these applications to the Board of County Commissioners.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
