Nina Kostin Luce

Nina Kostin Luce, 84, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, in Sandpoint, Idaho. A private family service will be held.

Nina was born on March 2, 1920, in Harbin, China. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 2 with her parents landing in San Francisco, Calif. She graduated from high school in Woodland, Calif.

Nina married Rex Luce on Nov. 2, 1941 in Woodland, Calif. She worked for J.C. Penny's for over 18 years and spent the past 17 years plus summering in Sagle, Idaho and the winter months in Yuma, Ariz.

In her younger years, she enjoyed oil painting and ceramics. She loved her family and staying at home with them.

Nina is survived by her husband Rex of Sagle; three children, Jerry Luce of Ronan, Mont., Ron Luce of Plains, Mont., and Valerie Luce of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents.
