Bottle Bay rower medals at NW regionals

SANDPOINT — Bottle Bay rower Jim Russell and Mike Lowery of Hayden successfully teamed up with the Corvallis Rowing Club at the Northwest Masters Regionals at Vancouver Lake, Wash. this past weekend.
The pair medaled in the following events: Second in the D (age 50-54) pair, and third in the E [age 55-59] eight, E four and D quadruple sculls along with a sixth in the D double sculls.
Over 700 rowers from the northwest, California & Canada competed in over 100 races during the 3-day regatta.
The next major regatta for the pair is the Canadian masters nationals at Elk Lake, Victoria, BC, in late August.
