Lady T-Wolves sweep Bulldogs

COEUR d'ALENE — Kelle Jost shined in the second game as the Lake City softball team swept a double-header against Sandpoint in Inland Empire League action.

Jost (1-0) tossed a perfect game with nine strikeouts in Lake City's 19-0 win over the Bulldogs.

"She was just awesome," coach Darren Taylor said. "Nobody reached base, she was perfect."

Kelle Bridges and Amy Adams each had two hits with three RBI in the game to lead the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves won the first game 8-0 using a big fifth inning to secure the win. Freshman Richelle Fennonbock ripped a two run double in the inning to round out the scoring.

Lake City (2-0) host Post Falls one week from Thursday.
