IFG works for people of Idaho

| March 22, 2004 8:00 PM

I attended a public meeting put on by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game on Feb. 28. This was the worst conducted meeting I have ever seen. They used the same lies and excuses for why they can't improve our fisheries. They (IFG) refuse to listen to the concerned people who could probably help them. We ask questions and receive the same pat answers.

The Daily Bee didn't even have the decency to mention that people asked many important questions. Or that it was even an open meeting and was attended by a very interested group of fishermen and women.

Everyone who pays taxes or buys a fishing and hunting license pays the wages of Fish and Game officials that they receive every month. I'd like to see how much they would make if no one bought licenses or paid taxes. These people need to realize that they work for all of us and start paying attention to our wishes. We are tired of the same old excuses. Maybe everyone should stop buying licenses, newspapers and Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club tickets to fish their derby we would finally be taken seriously. All we want is truth and honesty.

It was obvious to me that the Daily Bee must be biased in its reporting or are told what to write and report be the Idaho Fish and Game Department.
