Wildcats dominate home opener

KELLOGG — The Kellogg Wildcats dominated the Bonners Ferry Badgers in their Intermountain League opener with a 17-5 victory on Tuesday afternoon.

Wildcat senior Rachel Hopper led the way for the Wildcat with three hits, while Sam Pickering, Stephanie Martin and Liz Collins each added a pair of hits.

Martin went the distance in the contest to earn the win for the Wildcats.

Sara Kerby and Amanda Johnson each added a pair of hits for the Badgers on the afternoon.

Kellogg (3-1, 1-0) will host Timberlake Tuesday at 4 p.m.
