Mire, Lovell lead Bulldog golfers

POST FALLS — Led by senior Russ Grove's 1-under-par 69, Coeur d'Alene's boys edged Lewiston by one stroke (300-301) to win the inaugural Post Falls Invitational on Wednesday at Prairie Falls Golf Course.

Sandpoint was eight out of 13 teams, led by Joey Lovell's 76.

Lewiston won the girls' tournament over Coeur d'Alene by three strokes. Amy Eneroth of Mead was medalist with a 2-over-par 73.

Sandpoint sophomore Ashleigh Mire led the girls with a 93.
