Alice Marie Eich, 62

Alice Marie Eich, 62, passed away in Spokane, Wash., on Wednesday, May 12, 2004.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2004, in Coffelt's Moon Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy, First Church of God, will officiate.

Alice was born in Sandpoint on March 19, 1942, the daughter of Jack and Martha Armstrong. She attended Sandpoint schools and the Sandpoint School of Hair Design.

On Sept. 26, 1959, she married Glen Eich in Coeur d'Alene. She moved to Cocolalla and raised her family. At that time, she coached Little League baseball. She has operated The View Cafe since 1984 and enjoyed visiting with her customers.

She loved her family, her grandchildren and her friends. She loved to play bingo with her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Eich of Cocolalla; three children, Dale Eich of Cocolalla, Glenna and Andy Roberts of Cocolalla and Daniel and Robin Eich of Cocolalla; four grandchildren, Andrea and Brandon Roberts, and Danielle and Joseph Eich; four sisters, Carol Berg of Eagle River, Alaska, Eleanor Stueve of Sedro Wooley, Wash., Edna Heath of Sagle and Dorothy Keaton of Sandpoint; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Margaret; and a brother, Jack, who was known as "Zeke."
