NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR DEMOLITION OF EXISTING EQUIPMENT AND ASSEMBLY OF NEW PLAY SYSTEMS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Lake Pend Oreille School District #84 for the above stated project. Project will include equipment and labor for demolition of existing wood play systems and excavation and preparation of sites for installation of new play systems. It also includes the installation of new play systems at the following sites:

Sagle Elementary- 550 Sagle Road, Sagle, Idaho

Southside Elementary- Southside School Road, Cocolalla, Idaho

Hope Elementary- 100 Peninsula Road, Hope, Idaho

Washington Elementary- 420 S. Boyer, Sandpoint, Idaho

Northside Elementary- 7881 Colburn/Culver Rd. Sandpoint, Idaho

Kootenai Elementary- 301 Sprague St. Kootenai, Idaho

Bid specifications are available at the LPOSD Maintenance Shop from Sid Rayfield located at 1700 Baldy Mountain Road, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until day of bid opening. Telephone 208-263-9395.

Bids must be submitted on or before 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2004 to Clerk of the Board of Trustees, Lake Pend Oreille School District Office, 901 Triangle Drive, Ponderay, Idaho 83852. Bids received after the stated time and date will not be considered. At the stated time and place, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Please indicate on outside of bid envelope "Play System Installation".

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids and proposals and to waive any irregularities, and to be sole judge of the suitability of the interest of the School District.
