Quinn Walkington, who led the Bulldogs with three hits, had a two-RBI triple in the second inning to help put Sandpoint en route to that victory.

"Everybody is playing great as a team," said Sandpoint head coach Dave Siemsen. "The guys were kind of jittery and Kuna scored four runs in the first inning. But then they refocused and did a real nice job controlling the game."

Brent Scott, Adam Hodges and Chris Karle each finished with two-RBI.

Kuna (16-11) drops into the consolation bracket and faces Century (9-12). Meanwhile, Sandpoint (14-11) advances to the semifinals against Madison (17-9) at 4 p.m. today at Rodeo Park in Caldwell.
