Congress must cut Star Wars funding

Defending our nation from incoming nuclear bombs might make sense if technology for such a system were reliable and affordable. But Star Wars technology is neither.

When tested, the system fails as often as it succeeds. And complex, battlefield testing has yet to be conducted.

As if this weren't bad enough, Star Wars is the most expensive weapons system ever conceived, with a price tag of hundreds of billions of dollars. With our deficit already at a record high, America can't afford this.

Congress should cut Star Wars funding and support proven and affordable programs.
