George Edward Wall, 89

George Edward Wall, 89, a resident of Priest River, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in Priest River.

Funeral services honoring Mr. Wall will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Priest River.

Services will be directed by the Cornerstone Funeral Home in Boring, Ore., with Bishop George Kovac conducting services. Interment will follow in Seneacquoteen Cemetery.

George was born on Nov. 28, 1914, in Butte, Mont. He and Ivy were residents of Spokane, where George was an appliance repairman employed at the Crescent Department Store. He retired in 1975 and then owned and operated George's Appliance in Priest River for many years.

He is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, attending the Priest River Ward.

George is the dear husband of Ivy F. Wall of Priest River (married 68 years); and loving father of Karen Dawson of Deer Park, Wash., and Beverly Stewart of Spokane, Wash. He enjoyed his four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Wall.
