Robert Frank Olmstead, 74

Robert Frank Olmstead, 74, passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Locally, private family services will be held at a later date. He will be buried at the family plot in New York state.

Robert was born on June 18, 1930, in Gerry, N.Y., the son of Frank and Minnie (Ornce) Olmstead. He served his country with the United States Air Force.

Robert married Diana Mustonen on Nov. 25, 1950.

Robert and his family moved to Sandpoint 30 years ago. He worked at the Louisiana Pacific lumber mill in Sandpoint for many years.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Diana Olmstead of Sandpoint; three children, Robin Hunt of Sandpoint, Mark Olmstead of Post Falls, Idaho, and Garth Olmstead of Gillette, Wyo.; five grandchildren, Charles Hunt of Hayden, Idaho, Jennifer Turner of Oregon, Beth McKay of Wyoming, Travis Olmstead of Wyoming and Eric Olmstead of Wyoming; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert Olmstead of Cassadaga, N.Y.; and two sisters, Bessie Kibbie of Sinclairville, N.Y., and Pauline Williams of Whittier, Calif.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
