Sean Michael Ellis, 23, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004 in Naples, Idaho.

A memorial will be at the Naples Community Hall at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, followed by a potluck.

Sean was born March 21, 1981, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to Robert and Vickie Ellis. Sean lived in Naples until he was 5, moving to Post Falls and then Twin Lakes, Idaho. He returned to Naples at the age of 19.

Sean worked in many places of the timber industry and was presently employed by Welco Cedar of Idaho. He loved to fish, hunt, camping, boating, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and hiking into small lakes. He loved to do anything that was an adventure, he tried sky diving and bungee jumping. Sean especially loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Seth Ellis of Naples; his stepfather and mother, Barry and Vickie Forell; his father, Robert (Rob) Ellis of Coeur d'Alene; his brothers Eric (Ellis) Howell of Coeur d'Alene, and Caleb Ellis of Post Falls; a sister, Lisa (Ellis) Hathaway of Seattle, Wash.; a grandmother, Dolly Mader of Coeur d'Alene; a grandfather, Robert F. Ellis of Dalton, Idaho; a great-grandfather, Lee Ellis of Bonners Ferry; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and all his special friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Ann Ellis; grandmother, Lucille (Rice) Ellis and grandpa, Bob Mader.

Services are under the direction of Bonners Ferry Funeral Home.Carolyn KempCarolyn Kemp passed away on Oct. 29, 2004, due to complications of diabetes in her home in Malibu, Calif.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at First Lutheran Church, 526 South Olive St. in Sandpoint, Idaho. Carolyn was born on April 7, 1971, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, and lived in Minnesota until her family moved to Sandpoint in 1983. A 1989 honor student graduate of Sandpoint High School, Carolyn gradated from the University of Montana in 1999 with a degree in archeology. She completed course work for her master's degree at the University of California, Long Beach, in 2001 and had been accepted for further study at UCLA but decided to take some time off "working as coordinator and organizer" for several different charitable organizations. At the present she was employed as manager with the Raven Drum Foundation while she completed her master's degree work.Carolyn is survived by her parents, Dr. James and Annette Kemp of Sandpoint, Idaho; two brothers, Kevin Kemp of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Jason Kemp of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a grandmother, Flory Muller of Worthington, Minn. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Suzie and Archie Kemp and grandfather, William Muller; and her Uncle Larry Kemp.She was much loved by her family and all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.
