Ora Mae Puckett, 90

Ora Mae Puckett, 90, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in Coffelt's Moon Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy of the First Church of God will officiate, with interment to follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, from 2-4 p.m. in Coffelt's Moon Chapel.

Mae was born in Mercer, Tenn., on Aug. 31, 1914. She attended school in Mercer prior to moving to Jackson, Tenn. She worked in Jackson for many years to be able to raise, and support, her family. For health reasons, she moved to the Sandpoint, Idaho, area in 2001.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jackson, Tenn.

Mae liked to create silk floral arrangements and share them with nursing homes in Tennessee and Sandpoint. She also enjoyed sewing for her family, canning and fishing.

She is survived by two daughters, Clara (John) Moore of Gilbertsville, Ky., and Ruth (Elmer) Hamilton of Sandpoint; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
