Patricia Lynn VanWagner, 60

Patricia Lynn VanWagner, owner of Pat's Patchwork, 60, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in Clark Fork, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at the Hope Elementary School with Pastor Scott Douglas officiating.

Pat was born on Aug. 22, 1944, in Las Vegas, Nev., to John and Lucile Patterson. She grew up and attended schools in Carlsbad, N.M. Her senior year the family moved to Watford City, N.D., where she graduated.

Pat married Alan VanWagner on Oct. 4, 1962, in Sunnyvale, Calif. During the 1970s they lived in Alberta, Canada, and in 1980 moved back to Watford City. In 1991 they moved to Clark Fork.

Pat's love of quilting lead her to open Pat's Patchwork, where she sold quilting materials and supplies, and specialized in long arm quilting. She is a member of the Cabinet Mountain Calvary Chapel in Clark Fork, the Assembly of God Church in Watford City, Panhandle Piecemakers, taught Sunday school and attended Bible study.

Pat was a founding member of the Clark Fork Valley Quilters. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, reading, her grandchildren, and many clients who became friends.

She is survived by her husband, Alan VanWagner of Clark Fork, Idaho; two daughters, Sherry (Kris) Wold of Clark Fork, and Lana (Gary) Brennan of Bowman, N.D.; six grandchildren, Brandon, Michael, Kalynn, Dillion, Heather and Josie; four brothers, Mike, Bud, Jim and Willie Patterson; her father-in-law of Jerome VanWagner of Claresholm, Alberta; and special friends, Wade, Stacey and Darian Barton. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Glen VanWagner; two brothers, Jack and Joe Patterson; and her mother-in-law, Clara VanWagner.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
