Thank police for their efforts

At this time of Thanksgiving do we really thank God for the many men and women of law enforcement? They give of themselves so that we can be safe at great sacrifice. How many of us could work the shifts they do, exposing themselves to danger at every turn so that we, the public can live the quality of life we take for granted.

I encourage you to take time to let law enforcement know their efforts are appreciated. Wave, smile or give a friendly beep of the horn as you see them on the road; quietly buy their coffee or meal as you notice them in restaurants; pray for their safety and that of their families; shake their hand and tell them thank you.
