Kerry's conduct proves he has what it takes

| October 10, 2004 9:00 PM

Can there be any question in the minds of the people now, after watching the debate, on who the best candidate for president is? Kerry conducted himself in a clear, strong and convincing manner, showing a mastery of the issues, and ability to think quickly on his feet. He presented a strong alternative to Bush's reckless policy of war. He was more presidential than the president. He explained clearly how the war in Iraq was an enormous diversion from the hunt for Osama bin Laden, and what a colossal error in judgement was made by this administration. Of course many other important issues were brought up and answered in a clear and concise way, leaving Bush looking angry and shaken. I have no doubt that Kerry can lead this country, and help us to re-establish our credibility in the rest of the world.
