Bulldogs shoot the lights out in Rathdrum
RATHDRUM — Despite nearly an hour long delay and a change in venue, the Sandpoint Bulldogs cruised to a 48-16 league victory over 4A newcomer Lakeland Friday night.
Sandpoint senior Dan Parrish had 18 carries for 198 yards and three touchdowns.
Senior Blake Mahler caught three passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while Nathan Knaggs and Eric DeMers each added touchdowns.
Sandpoint finished the night with 379 yards of total offense, while the defense held Lakeland to just 86 yards on the ground. The Hawks did find some success through the air, however, with 19 completions for 196 yards.
The Bulldogs (7-1) play host to Post Falls in the final regular season game at Barlow Stadium on Friday in Sandpoint.
