Wildcats host annual Invitational Thursday in Pinehurst

PINEHURST — New course record, photo finishes and plenty of exciting race action.

All these things happened on Thursday night at Pinehurst Golf Course as the Kellogg Wildcats hosted the Kellogg Invite, their only home meet of the season.

In the girls varsity race, Moscow senior Allix Lee-Painter set a new course record, with a finish in 18:48.41, breaking her record from a previous trip to the invite. In the boys race, Troy runner Patrick Teaford and Deary runner Josh Dalton came in at the same time, with the win given to Teaford by .20 seconds.
