Coverage of 9/11 was disappointing
I'm a very disappointed reader, as I'm sure others might be also, in that you have failed to acknowledge any kind of memorial or remembrance on the front page of your paper dated Sept. 11 2004.
It occurs to me that Dec. 7 and Sept. 11 will be forever burned into our memories and history. Yet you chose to acknowledge nothing of the kind. Not even a note or caption like, "We Remember" or "We Will Never Forget" The only mention was on Page 5 that appears to be a paid ad by some of our local businesses and on Page 6 from a national feed about programs that will be held today. Why no mention? Did you forget? "I never will." If it wasn't for the local ad placed by some of our local businesses, there would have been just one piece. This is contrary to what you normally portray about our warm and fuzzy caring community, and all the good things people do for each other here. You did nothing. Shame on you.
