Frances King Shellhorn, 93

Frances King Shellhorn, 93, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

A family gathering will be held for her.

Frances was born on April 6, 1911, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Frank and Josie (Wilcox) King. She married Edmund J. Shellhorn on Feb. 15, 1936, in Oxnard, Calif.

She worked as an executive secretary for Rockwell and moved to Sandpoint in 1968 from the Manhattan Beach and Cathedral City, Calif. area.

Fran was thoughtful and caring. She will be missed by her family and countless others, many of whom think of her as a mother or grandma.

Fran is survived by her son, Dennis Shellhorn; a brother, Howard King; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Fran was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edmund J. Shellhorn; and a son, Edmund H. Shellhorn.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
