Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Mike Terry, Lake Pointe Church of Coeur d'Alene, will be officiating.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at Coffelt's Moon Chapel, Pine and Division streets, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Carol was born on Jan. 29, 1942, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the daughter of Harold and Lily (Swenson) Marley. She grew up and attended schools in Sandpoint and graduated from Sandpoint High School. She married Ralph Bloom on May 29, 1958, in Sandpoint.

Carol's hobbies included knitting, baking, playing the piano, which she did every day; and her pets. She was an avid sports fan of baseball and of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. Her favorite flowers were roses because they "smell good" and her favorite car was a 1972 Dodge Charger.

Carol enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ralph Bloom of Sandpoint; her mother, Lily Marley of Sandpoint; two daughters and sons-in-law, Coulette (Dennis) Kuespert of Spokane Valley, Wash., and Mollie (Mike) Tenney of Sandpoint; six grandchildren, Denny, Andy and Nick Kuespert, and Cameron, Christa and Cassandra Tenney; two great-grandchildren, Drew Kuespert and Kaitlyn Kuespert; and two sisters, Nancy Saasen of Tacoma, Wash., and Janet Heth of Bremerton, Wash.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Harold, in 1981.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
