Nina Jane Haynes Bauer, 50

Nina Jane Haynes Bauer, 50, passed away, Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in Sandpoint, Idaho, after a short battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Nancy Copeland-Payton officiating.

Nina was born on April 1, 1955, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Delbert D. and Jane Haynes. She grew up and attended schools in Sandpoint graduating from high school in 1973. She attended the University of Idaho and later Spokane Kinman Business University, where she studied to be a medical secretary.

In 1974, she was married to William Mills for a short time. She later married Steve Czarapata, the couple lived in Seattle and Sandpoint and raised two sons.

After her divorce in 1984, Nina went to work managing the Bonner Mall. In 1986, she married Mike Bauer and they lived in Moscow, Sandpoint, and Redmond, Ore. After they were divorced, Nina went to work scheduling surgeries for Bend Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic and later for Advanced Surgical Care in Bend, Ore. She recently moved to Sandpoint to be closer to family due to health reasons.

Nina will be remembered as a fun person with a big heart and an infectious laugh. Wherever she went people were attracted to her. She has a lot of friends and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, painting with water colors, and collecting movies.

She is survived by her friend, Mike Fulton of Burns, Ore.; two sons, Justin and Patrick Czarapata of Bend, Ore.; a daughter, Amanda Bauer of Bend, Ore.; mother, Jane Haynes of Sandpoint; and three brothers, Joe (Hazel) Haynes of Boise, Jim (Anne) Haynes of Sandpoint, and Idaho, and Chuck (Sue) Haynes of Sandpoint.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Haynes; and two brothers, Henry and Ben Haynes.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 417 N. Fourth Ave., Sandpoint, ID 83864.
