Hawks sweep Bulldogs

SANDPOINT — Scoring tears by Lakeland allowed the Hawks to sweep Sandpoint during a softball double-header at Travers Park on Monday.

Lakeland beat the Bulldogs 12-7 and 12-5, with the second game getting called in the fifth inning due to darkness.

Sandpoint's Lizzie Dorval poked a three-run homer in the fifth inning during the first game and Steph Ferguson belted a triple in the final stretch of game two.

Post Falls hosts the Bulldogs on Thursday.
