Shannon Kingsley, 36
Shannon Kingsley, 36, passed away suddenly in Sandpoint, Idaho, on April 18, 2005.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005, in Coffelt's Moon Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy will officiate and interment will be in the Westmond Cemetery.
Friends may call at Coffelt's Moon Chapel on Thursday afternoon from noon to 6 p.m.
Shannon was born Sept. 22, 1968, in Sandpoint to Donald and Maggie Becker. She attended Bonner County schools and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1986. She married Paul Kingsley on Dec. 6, 1986, in Dover, Idaho.
She received her elementary education and special education degree from the University of Idaho in 2001. She enjoyed her career as the special education teacher at Clark Fork Jr./Sr., High School.
Shannon lived in Musselshell, Mont., while attending the University of Montana in Billings, Mont. She returned to Sandpoint in 1998 and worked as a substitute teacher for the Bonner County schools.
She enjoyed watching her children in sports and other activities, reading, playing Pogo, other card games and watching soaps.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Kingsley of Sandpoint; three children, Lisa, Adam and Matt, of Sandpoint; her parents, Don and Maggie Becker of Dover; two sisters, Marci and Dennis Gillmer of Sagle and Annette and David Oller of Danville, Calif.; a brother, Donald and Connie Becker of Wenatchee, Wash.; her mother-in-law, Carol and David Gall of Pender Island, British Columbia, Canada; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and all off her students at Clark Fork Jr./Sr. High School.
A college account for Shannon's children has been established at Panhandle State Bank.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
