BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETINGS
AN ORDINANCE OF BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO SETTING FORTH IT'S AUTHORITY; AMENDING ORDINANCE #398, CHAPTER 2, TITLE 1, BONNER COUNTY REVISED CODE, BY REVISING THE TIMES AND DAYS OF THE WEEK FOR THE BONNER COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONER MEETINGS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Idaho Code S 31-710 provides for the ability of the Bonner County Commissioners to fix regular meeting dates upon the passage of an Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Bonner County Commissioners have determined that consistent with Idaho Code S31-710 it would be in the best interest of the public if the Board was to change the regular meeting schedule for the Bonner County Board of Commissioners in order that Board activities can be carried out with the greater public participation, preparedness and awareness; and
WHEREAS, Title 1, Chapter 2 of the Bonner County Revised Code currently establishes the meeting dates for the Board of Bonner County Commissioners and said dates need to be amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Bonner County, Idaho, that the following be, and is, hereby adopted as an ordinance of Bonner County;
SECTION I: AUTHORITY
This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority granted at Idaho Code S31-710 and pursuant to the procedural requirements of Idaho Code S31-714 et.seq.
SECTION II: AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE 1, BONNER COUNTY REVISED CODE, BY REVISING THE REGULAR MEETING DATES FOR THE BOARD OF BONNER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
Section 1-202, regular meeting, Bonner County Revised Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
1-202. Regular meetings.
a) Regular business meetings of the Board shall be held weekly on Tuesday, commencing at eight forty-five (8:45) a.m., excepting when such days occur on regular holidays. A regular meeting may also be continued to a future date by a majority vote of the Board. This weekly meeting is designated for general external business of the Board, including, but not limited to: (1) Consideration of Claims
(2) Consideration and approval of minute records;
(3) Consideration and approval of proposed ordinances;
(4) Review of license applications;
(5) Adoption of necessary resolutions;
(6) Conduct public hearings;
(7) Conduct such other business as it may schedule;
(8) Conduct such business as may be required by Idaho Code.

b) The agenda for regular meetings shall be posted at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance on the Board of County Commissioner's bulletin Board. Such notice and agenda shall be in accordance with the requirements of 67-2345, Idaho Code. (Ord. 277, 3/29/95)
SECTION III: SEVERABILITY
The provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared individually severable. Should any provisions of this Ordinance be declared invalid by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such declaration shall no effect the validity of the remaining of the provisions.
SECTION IV: EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication in one (1) issue at the Bonner County Daily Bee newspaper.
