Karl Rove must be held accountable for actions

| August 1, 2005 9:00 PM

Some of us pay attention to national news and want our politicians to conduct themselves in a responsible manner. President Bush's Supreme Court nomination has seemed to take his buddy Karl Rove off the hot seat. There needs to be a full accounting to the American people about what happened in this CIA leak case.

I love our country, but it is very painful when it appears that people in the highest offices are acting like criminals and it is so easy for the media to focus on something else and figuratively speaking "sweep it under the carpet". From what I have heard, these days both conservatives and liberals alike believe there is something stinky going on at the White House.

I urge this paper and all you kind readers to delve deeply into the workings of our government and help make our "leaders" accountable for their actions.
