Hospital's priority is patient care
I am writing in response to the article "Nurses protest firings."
First of all, it is very presumptuous of these nurses to think "most of the hospital's 350-plus employees are outraged."
I am not sure who it is they are speaking of. I, for one, am not one of those. In fact, it has made no difference to me at all, nor do I feel it will make any difference to patient care and I am sure there are others who agree. But then again, I do not feel I can speak for them. Last I noticed, at BGH there are competent nurses still working here and to assume otherwise if unfounded.
Patient care has been Bonner General Hospital's first priority and I know it will continue to be. I have worked here for many years and I have never seen it otherwise.
