Deputy doing outstanding job finding illegal drugs
The Daily Bee (Aug. 13), says tort claims filed against Bonner County are similar. The entire story needs comment by law-abiding citizens.
My interpretation of the events leading to tort claims being similar all showing that superior law enforcement techniques were used, and in every case drugs were found. These people who say they want drug use curtailed, should applaud the officer involved and question the lawyers and judges that allowed the cases to be dropped. Either the defense attorney is highly superior to the state's attorney, or the judge is leaning over backwards to find loop holes in our laws that hinder law enforcement. It sounds like Deputy Hathaway needs a promotion to sergeant and an assignment as instructor for search techniques.
