Christopher E. 'Chris' West, 25

Christopher E. "Chris" West, 25, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, in the First Church of God, 221 S. Division in Sandpoint.

Chris was born in Canoga Park, Calif., on March 27, 1980, the son of Mark and Tina West.

He moved to Guam in 1981, where he attended local schools.

In 1996, he moved to Sandpoint and attended Sandpoint High School.

He has worked locally as a logger, mechanic, roofer and sheetrock contractor.

He was a member of the First Church of God in Anderson, Ind.

Chris enjoyed motorcycles, cars, surfing and all water sports and snowboarding.

He is survived by a son, Dakota West, 4, of Sandpoint; his parents, Mark and Tina West of Sandpoint; two brothers, Sean Drury of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Jeff West of Sandpoint; two sisters, Shannon Drury of California and Natalie West of Sandpoint; and grandparents, Mickey and Ellen Hargitay of California.

Chris was preceded in death by two of his grandparents.
