Robert "Bob" Ray Hoppe

Robert "Bob" Ray Hoppe, 66, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at his home in Clark Fork, Idaho.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Bob was born on December 29, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Fred and Hazel (Nicodemus) Hoppe.

He moved with his family at an early age to Spokane, Wash. and started school in Spokane and graduated from Riverside High School.

Bob worked for Snyder's Bakery in the manufacturing plant and later worked for Carnation Dairy for many years in the plant production and also drove distribution truck.

He met and married Carole Boeckel on April 10, 1981 and they lived in Chatteroy, Wash. for many years.

Bob later worked for Safeway as a semi truck driver for over 20 years and was honored for over 1 million accident free miles. He retired in 2000 due to disability and moved from Chatteroy to Clark Fork.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting and his family.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Hoppe of Clark Fork; a daughter, Janice Hoppe of Spokane; Stepsons Dallas (Tracey) Crabtree of Deer Park, Wash. and Denny Crabtree of Newport, Wash.; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Margie Lumbor of Spokane, Barbara (Bud) Ballard and Dorothy, both of Fallbrook, Calif. Numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and two brothers.

Memorial may be made to the American Heart Fund.
