Albert H. Ball, 83, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005.
Private family services will be held.
Albert was born on Nov. 17, 1922, in Danbury, Neb.
He was a diesel mechanic and heavy equipment operator until 1991 when he retired and moved to Idaho from Grass Valley, Calif.
He was a World War II veteran, having fought in Germany and France, belonging to the 66th Infantry regiment. He was given an honorable discharge on April 15, 1946.
His parents were Thomas F. Ball and Alma Mae Hayes, who preceded him in death as well as 10 brothers and sisters. He is survived by a brother, Frank Ball of Placerville, Calif.; four daughters, Connie M. (Gary) Spurgeon, Melanie A. (Gordon) Hollett, Tammie L. (Joseph) Watson and Wanda C. "Coco" (Kevin) Montgomery, all of Bonner County; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces scattered across the United States.
He was much loved and will be missed greatly.
