| December 6, 2005 8:00 PM

COEUR d'ALENE — Kendal Burt scored 6 of her 12 points in the fourth quarter, and the visiting Sandpoint Bulldogs outscored the Lake City Timberwolves 17-4 over the final eight minutes to win the Inland Empire League game 52-43 on Tuesday night.

"She's a hard-nosed, inside player. She always gets her hands on the ball," Lake City coach Darren Taylor said of Burt.

Richelle Fenenbock had 14 points, four assists and three steals for Lake City (2-4, 0-2 IEL), which coughed up a fourth-quarter lead for the second straight game. LC was without sophomore point guard Emma Hawn, who suffered a sprained ankle in last week's loss at Post Falls. She might be back Thursday, when Lake City entertains Lakeland.

"We were in control of the game and lost focus. We don't know how to put teams away," Lake City coach Darren Taylor said.

Bethann Cohen added nine points for Sandpoint (6-0, 2-0). Katie Baker had eight points and six rebounds for Lake City.
