William 'Uncle Bill' Moore, 91

William "Uncle Bill" Moore, 91, passed away in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Bill was born on July 10, 1914, in Knoxville, Tenn., the son of Landran and Della Moore. As a child, he moved to Bimidji, Minn., and then in 1922, the family moved to a small farm on Boyer Avenue in Sandpoint.

He worked as a foreman for Power City Electric, putting in power lines throughout the Northwest. Later, he worked as a fireman in the boiler room for Pack River Lumber company, retiring in 1976.

In later years, he lived in Ponderay. He moved to Bonners Ferry in 2002.

He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed walking.

He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Maguire of Kalipsell, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sons, a brother and three sisters.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint, Idaho.
