NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:30 pm on 12/27/05 in Courtroom 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:

AMENDMENT TO TITLE 2 - Bonner County is initiating an amendment to Bonner County Revised Code, Title 2 Chapter 8, (Bonner County Road Specifications) amending and adoption of the Road Standards Manual dated December 2005 Version I; allowing further amendments to be amended by resolution; establishing the setting and collection of fees by resolution; providing for penalties and remedies; providing for the issuance of stop work orders. A copy of the proposed ordinance amendment is available at the Bonner County Road and Bridge Department.

Any person needing special accommodations to participate in the public hearing should contact the Bonner County Commissioners at (208) 265-1438.

WRITTEN COMMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED TO THE BONNER COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED HEARING. COMMENTS CAN BE MAILED TO THE BONNER COUNTY ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT, 4100 McGHEE ROAD, SUITE C, SANDPOINT, ID. 83864. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THE ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT.

IN THE EVENT THAT COURTROOM 4 IS NOT AVAILABLE, THE HEARING COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
