CLARK FORK — The Wampus Cats fell to the very talented Wallace Miners 61-39 Thursday night in Clark Fork.
Rashell Trunnell had 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Cats, but it wasn't enough against the #3 ranked 1A team in the state.
"Rashell had a great game, she really stepped up and played hard," said Clark Fork coach Mark Stevens. "She played a lot like last year, Wallace is just a very good team."
Reyna Allen added seven points and Bailey Hewitt chipped in with six.
Wallace was led by Krista Williams with 15 points and Lisa Carver added 11.
Clark Fork (1-4) plays at Selkirk on Saturday.
