Michael Owen Janisse, 52

Michael Owen Janisse, 52, passed away Dec. 13, 2005, in his home on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille surrounded by his loving wife and children.

A gathering in celebration of his life will be held at the Captn's Table on Dec. 18, 2005, from 1-4 p.m.

He will be forever missed.

The snow scared the geese away,

time for another winter's day.

The cold gray air fills my mind

with thoughts of love, and death,

and time.

Nothing's final, always changing.

Not really dying, but rearranging.

Leaving behind living scrolls,

Whose cocoons still keep their souls.

When my time comes to die,

I, too, will become a butterfly.

For every souls destiny from its birth,

is to be free from the clutches of this earth.
